COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College men's volleyball team stretched its winning streak to three matches with a 3-0 victory over Kentucky State University on Friday night in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
The Tigers won the match 25-12, 25-19, 25-20 to improve to 6-11 overall and 4-3 in the SIAC. Kentucky State falls to 2-10 overall and 1-4 in the SIAC.
Zion Beckford had a team-high nine kills and hit a season-best .421.
Ras Jesse Delancy and
Donovan Wilmott had eight kills each. Delancy also had a team and season-high nine digs.
Terran Walkin had 28 assists.
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, with a 2 p.m. SIAC contest against Central State University.
