ATLANTA, Ga. – Morehouse swept a doubleheader against the Benedict College baseball team on Sunday.
The Tigers had an 11-9 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh, but surrendered four runs in the bottom of the seventh, and Morehouse was able to add another run in the eighth.
Benedict falls to 3-27 overall and 2-17 in the SIAC. Morehouse improves to 7-17 overall and 6-9 in the SIAC.
Bradon O'Connor went 2-for-4 with four RBIs and stole seven bases in the first game. He went 1-for-4 and stole three more bases in the second game.
Jalen McDuffie went 3-for-5 and drove home a pair of runs in the first game. The Tigers were held to four hits in the second game.
The Tigers will look to snap their eight-game losing streak with a non-conference home doubleheader against Paine College on Tuesday, starting at noon.
