COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Morris on Tuesday night in the Bejamin E. Mays HRC Arena to snap a four-game losing streak.
Benedict won the match 25-8, 25-4, 25-8, as they served up 17 service aces in the match and hit .435.
The Lady Tigers improve to 12-7 overall. Morris falls to 0-6.
Benedict had 40 kills in the match, compared to two kills for Morris.
Kaiah Green had nine kills and hit .667.
Krislenn Lucas added six kills and hit .625.
Jordan Williams recorded seven digs, while
Jadyn Murry recorded a season-high 30 assists.
Benedict travels to Morris next Tuesday for a rematch.
