SUMTER, S.C. – The Benedict College women's volleyball team recorded season-highs in assists, hitting percentage and fewest attack errors to cruise to a 3-0 victory over Morris College on Tuesday night.
The Lady Tigers won the match 25-2, 25-4, 25-6 to improve to 13-7 overall.
Benedict recorded 28 assists, led by
La'Jai Wilson with 12 and
Jordan Williams with 11. Benedict had 32 kills on 49 total attacks with just three attack errors for a .592 hitting percentage.
Desire' Young had a team-high six kills.
T'yannah Lake had a season-high five kills.
Jadyn Murry had 23 assists.
The Lady Tigers return to action with a road game at Paine on Oct. 25.
