COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Tim Moore score 29 points and
Asanti Price added 20 points as the Benedict College men's basketball team cruised to a 92-64 victory over Paine College in their home opener on Saturday.
The Tigers shot 51.4 percent for the game, while holding the Lions to 37.1 percent shooting.
Moore added 14 rebounds.
Brandon Beidleman scored 10 points, while
Malachi McCoy also pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Tigers, now 3-0 on the season, travel to take on Augusta University on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Benedict returns home on Saturday to take on Lane College at 7 p.m. The game time has been changed to accommodate the Benedict NCAA playoff football game at 1 p.m.
