Tigers Fall To Morehouse

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Morehouse College scored 10 runs in the first inning and went on to take a 12-0 victory in a SIAC baseball game on Monday afternoon at Tiger Field to wrap up the three-game series.
 
The Tigers walked in three of the 10 runs in the first inning as three Benedict pitchers issued eight walks on the day. Morehouse had 12 hits.
 
Benedict falls to 10-12 overall and 6-11 in the SIAC. Morehouse improves to 14-13-1 overall and 12-11 in the SIAC.
 
Benedict returns to action on Friday with a doubleheader at Clark Atlanta to begin a three-game conference series.
