MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Benedict College women's volleyball team picked up a pair of victories on Saturday, defeating Lane College 3-0 and LeMoyne-Owen University 3-1.
The Lady Tigers cruised to a 25-15, 25-19, 25-19 over Lane.
Cana Smith led the way with 11 kills.
Kaiah Green had seven kills and four blocks.
La'Jai Wilson had 15 digs.
Jadyn Murry had 14 assists, while
Willow Alls added 13 assists.
Benedict took a 25-15, 21-25, 26-23, 25-10 victory over LeMoyne-Owen. Smith had a season-high 18 kills, while Green had nine kills and two blocks. Wilson had 19 digs, while
Jordan Williams had 18 digs. Alls had 24 assists, while Murry added 16 assists.
Benedict improves to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the SIAC.
The Lady Tigers play at Edward Waters on Tuesday.
