COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benedict College is encouraging all alumni and former student-athletes to attend Reunion Weekend when the Tigers take on Allen in basketball on Jan. 27.
 
Reunion Weekend is expected to be an exciting time for all alumni and former student-athletes as the Tigers take on neighbor and rival Allen University in a SIAC conference showdown. The women's game will start things off at 1 p.m., with the eighth-ranked and currently undefeated men's team squaring off against the Yellow Jackets at 3 p.m.
 
Admission is $20 for both games for adults, and $10 for youth and students. Benedict students are admitted free with their Benedict ID. Doors open at noon. Tickets are available at benedicttickets.com.
 
There will be plenty of festivities on hand for Reunion Weekend, as Benedict College will recognize former student-athletes in attendance during the game. A parade of former student-athletes will be held. Former championship teams will also be recognized. All members of past championship teams are encouraged to be in attendance.
 
Reunion Weekend is the first chance in 2024 for alumni to gather and celebrate the Tigers. Alumni will also want to circle Oct. 26, 2024 on their calendar for football Homecoming, when Benedict will take on Miles College at 2 p.m. The rest of the 2024 football schedule will be released in the near future.
