COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College men's cross country team defeated Allen University 18-37 in the Columbia Harden Street XC Challenge meet at Owens Field cross country course on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers took the top four spots in the dual meet.

Kelvin Kiprop crossed the finish line together. Kipkemboi was the top finisher, crossing the 6K course with a time of 22:45.3, just a fraction of a second ahead of Kiprop, who had a time of 22:45.4.
Sadiki Marsh finished third with a time of 23:40.4, while
Braylen Brooks was fourth with a time of 23:44.3.
William Fennoy was Benedict's fifth finisher with a time of 28:33.3.
Jacobie Sims ran a 32:08.3.
Benedict will next compete in the SIAC Championship on Wednesday, Oct. 23 in Macon, Ga.
