Tigers Finish Fourth At SIAC Men's Cross Country Championship

MACON, Ga. – The Benedict College men's cross country team had two of the top four individual finishers, but finished fourth in the team score at the 2024 SIAC Championship in Macon, Ga., on Wednesday.
 
Morehouse won the championship with 38 points, followed by Central State and Tuskegee. Benedict scored 98 points.
 
Kelvin Kiprop finished second overall with a time of 26:24.06 over the 8K course, but more than two minutes behind Morehouse's Brian Kemei, who was named SIAC Runner of the Year. Nelson Kipkemboi was fourth overall with a time of 26:36.26. Sadiki Marsh finished 16th overall with a time of 28:14.08. Braylen Brooks was 19th with a time of 28:20.45. William Fennoy was 57th with a time of 34:02.64.
