JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers snapped a six-game losing streak to Edward Waters with a 3-1 victory in a SIAC women's volleyball match on Sunday.
Benedict won the match, 18-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-18 to improve to 11-6 overall and 7-5 in the SIAC. Edward Waters falls to 6-14 overall and 6-5 in the SIAC.
T'yannah Lake had 14 kills to lead the Lady Tigers, while
Desire' Young added 12 kills and three blocks.
Willow Alls had 23 assists.
Brandi Seaborn had 19 digs, and was one of three Benedict players with double-figure digs.
The Lady Tigers are on the road again this week, with matches at Clark Atlanta on Tuesday and Allen on Wednesday.
