COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benedict College defeated Allen 3-0 in SIAC women's volleyball action on Wednesday night at Allen's gymnasium.
Benedict won the match 25-20, 25-23, 25-19 to improve to 12-7 overall and 8-6 in the SIAC. Allen falls to 6-12 overall and 4-9 in the SIAC.

Kaiah Green had eight kills each to lead Benedict, while
Krislenn Lucas had seven kills and a season-high four blocks.
Willow Alls had 17 assists and a team-high nine digs.
Benedict used a 4-0 run late in the first set to take a 21-14 lead, and then held off a late Allen rally. Benedict had a 5-0 run in the second set to take a 20-14 lead, but Allen rallied to cut the lead to 21-20. The Lady Tigers closed out the set with kills from Green,
T'yannah Lake,
Angelic Carter and then a kill from Lucas closed out the set. Benedict used a 6-0 run in the third set to take an 18-13 lead and held on for the win to sweep the match.
The Lady Tigers take on Paine College at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m., their first home match in more than three weeks.
