COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Tigers dropped two spots to No. 4 in the HBCU D2 Football Coaches Poll, powered by BoxToRow.
Benedict, 7-1 overall after suffering their first loss of the season last week against Albany State, received 107 total points.
For the sixth straight week, the Virginia Union Panthers received a majority of the first place votes and sit atop the poll. Albany State jumped up to No. 2, followed Johnson C. Smith.
The Tigers have a non-conference matchup against Virginia University of Lynchburg this week for their Homecoming contest.
