ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Football Players of the Week on Tuesday, Sept. 23, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Fabian Duncan (Allen), Jordan Thompson (Kentucky State),
Jaxon Williams (Benedict), and
Darius Ocean (Benedict) were recognized.

Williams continues to be one of the most dangerous kickoff return men in the country. Against Tuskegee, Williams had three kickoff returns for 143 yards. He had a 97 yard return to open the second half. Williams also had 4 receptions for 47 yards and one touchdown.

Darius Ocean made his first start of the season and was instrumental in Benedict's 45-24 victory over Tuskegee in a Thursday night televised game. Ocean completed 19-of-29 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns.
