ATLANTA, Ga. — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 preseason all-conference men's basketball teams, individual honors and predicted order of finish on Wednesday, featuring four returning players from the 2024-25 All-SIAC lineup.
Benedict senior guard
Caleb Hymon was named to the preseason third team. During the 2024-25 season, Hymon averaged 10.9 points per game, and scored a season-high 22 points at Fort Valley State. He led the team with 36 made 3-pointers.
In the predicted order of finish, the Benedict Tigers, under first-year coach
Dannton Jackson, were picked to finish sixth in the SIAC East Division.
Benedict opens the 2025-26 season on Nov. 14 at Eckerd College.
Preseason teams are as voted by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
