SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Benedict College softball team was held to just two hits as Savannah State wrapped up their SIAC series with a 12-0 victory on Saturday.
Savannah State had a 3-0 lead after three innings, but then scored nine runs on six hits and two Benedict errors in the fourth inning.

Cayla Crooks each had a single for the Lady Tigers.
Benedict, now 8-29 overall and 4-17 in the SIAC, will play a non-conference doubleheader against Johnson C. Smith University at home on Wednesday, starting at 2 p.m.
