ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2026 Men's Volleyball All-SIAC teams and individual honorees on Thursday, as voted by the conference's head coaches.
 
Benedict senior middle hitter Hakan Godoy was named to the second team.
 
Godoy led the SIAC in blocks per set, averaging 0.92 blocks per set. He recorded 26 solo blocks and 28 assisted blocks for 54 total blocks in 59 sets. He also ranked second in the SIAC in hitting percentage, hitting .341, recording 113 kills on 214 total attempts with 40 errors.
 
The Tigers, 8-8 overall and 4-4 in the SIAC, are the third seed in the 2026 SIAC Championship, and will face second-seed Central State at 5 p.m. on Friday at Edward Waters University in Jacksonville, Fla. The championship match is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday.
