COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College men's indoor track and field teams is ranked 39
th and the women's team is ranked 42
nd in the first national rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The men's team has scored 22.38 points through their first two indoor events.
Andre Watson scored 11.21 points with his sixth-best time in NCAA Division II in the 200 meters last week in Birmingham, Ala.
The women's team is ranked 42
nd in the first rankings, with 23.81 points.
Krishanda Campbell-Brown has accounted for 22.87 of those points. She ranks third in the country in the triple jump and 11
th in the long jump.
The Benedict indoor track and field teams are back in action this weekend, traveling to Winston-Salem for the Hilton Garden Invitational, hosted by Wake Forest University.
