Bradon O'Connor brought home an insurance run with an RBI single.
Benedict stole nine bases in the two games, giving the Tigers 21 stolen bases on 23 attempts in the first five games. During Sunday's doubleheader against Saint Augustine's in Cary, N.C., the Tigers surpassed 2,000 total stolen bases in coach
Selwyn Young's nine seasons.
The Tigers travel to USC Beaufort on Wednesday for a 2 p.m. contest.
