GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Benedict College Tigers struggled with their shooting as the Limestone Saints took a 93-78 non-conference men's basketball victory on Wednesday night.
Benedict shot 39.5 percent (32-of-81) for the game and shot 20.7 percent (6-of-29) from 3-point range.
The Tigers fall to 3-14 on the season. Limestone improves to 9-8.
DeShawn Graham led the Tigers with 17 points.
Jasiah Perry added 12 points.
The Tigers had a 30-27 lead with 3:10 left in the first half, but the Saints closed out the first half with a 14-3 run to take a 41-33 lead at the break. Limestone used a 10-0 run early in the second half to take a 61-43 lead.
Benedict returns to action on Saturday with a trip to Augusta, Ga., to take on conference rival Paine College at 3 p.m.
