FAIRFIELD, Ala. – The Benedict College Tigers shot a season-low 26.2 percent from the floor as Miles College took an 80-48 victory on Monday night.
Benedict made 16-of-61 shot attempts, including going 6-of-31 (19.4 percent) in the first half as Miles took a 28-16 lead at the half.
Davante Wiltshire led the Tigers with 12 points, while
Jasiah Perry added 11 points, reaching double figures for the second time this season.
Benedict falls to 2-12 overall and 1-6 in the SIAC. Miles improves to 9-4 overall and 6-0 in the SIAC.
Benedict returns home to take on Clark Atlanta at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
