ATLANTA, Ga. (November 15, 2022) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its women's basketball Players of the Week.
 
Mahogany Randall (Benedict) was named Player of the Week, while Shakera Duncan (Benedict) earned Newcomer of the Week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Mahogany Randall, Benedict

Mahogany Randall paced the way for Benedict College in a 64-61 victory over Paine College. Randall would lead the Lady Tigers with 24 points, four rebounds, three steals, an assist and a block. Benedict would go on a 10-1 run capped by a Mahogany Randall 3-pointer with under five minutes of play.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK– Shakera Duncan, Benedict 
Guard  |  Freshman  |  Houston, TX

In her debut for the Lady Tigers, Shakera Duncan had 14 points, team-high 11 rebounds, four steals, two blocks, and an assist in Benedict's 64-61 victory over Paine College. She was the second leading scorer for Benedict behind Mahogany Randall.
