Tigers Fall To Morehouse

ATLANTA, Ga. – Morehouse scored 10 runs in the first two innings and went on to take an 18-4 victory in a SIAC baseball game on Saturday.
 
The Tigers trailed 10-0 heading into the sixth inning, when they scored four runs. Christian Inyang led off with a single, and scored on a double by Jalen McDuffie. McDuffie later scored on an RBI double by Reno Brock. Taj Bates and Brock scored on groundouts.
 
The Maroon Tigers tacked on eight runs in the bottom of the sixth.
 
Morehouse improves to 5-17 overall and 4-7 in the SIAC. Benedict falls to 3-25 overall and 2-15 in the SIAC.
 
Benedict and Morehouse will complete the conference series with a doubleheader on Sunday.
