COLUMBIA, S.C. – Asanti Price scored 25 points, hitting seven 3-pointers, and the 15^th-ranked Benedict College Tigers never trailed in an 81-62 victory over rival Allen University in SIAC men's basketball action on Saturday in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
 
The Tigers scored the final seven points of the first half and took a 44-20 lead at the break. Benedict maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
 
Benedict improves to 15-2 overall and 9-2 in the SIAC. Allen falls to 9-8 overall and 5-5 in the SIAC.
 
Tim Moore added 14 points for the Tigers. Malachi McCoy had a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Gob Gabriel also added 11 points.
 
Benedict will host Edward Waters on Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
