COLUMBIA, S.C. – USC Aiken hit four home runs in two games to sweep a non-conference softball doubleheader over the Benedict College Lady Tigers on Wednesday at Tiger Field.
USC Aiken won the first game 4-1 behind two home runs from Madison Rogers. USC Aiken hit two more home runs in the second game in a 13-1 victory.
Benedict was held to two hits in the first game, as
Heaven Strickland had a single, and
T'yannah Lake had an RBI single.
In the second game, Lake had two hits.
Ariana Ellis drove in the fifth inning. Lake had a pair of hits.
The Lady Tigers wrap up the regular season with a three-game SIAC series at Clark Atlanta. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 1 p.m.
