COLUMBIA, S.C. – Savannah State held Benedict College to two hits as they took a 9-0 victory in a SIAC softball game on Sunday at Tiger Field.
Cayla Crooks had a single in the fourth inning, and
Shamaria Dupree had a single in the sixth inning. Benedict also committed four errors in the contest.
Benedict falls to 14-17 overall and 9-12 in the SIAC. Savannah State goes to 15-20 overall and 11-10 in the SIAC.
Benedict will return to action on Thursday to take on Livingstone in a non-conference doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at Tiger Field.
