ATLANTA, Ga. – Clark Atlanta University took a 59-56 victory over the Benedict College Tigers in a SIAC men's basketball contest on Saturday, as the Tigers took to the court for the first time in 2026 after a 15-day holiday layoff.
 
The Tigers rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit to tie the contest at 51 with 3:48 remaining in the game on a fast-break layup by Kameron Foman. The Panthers regained the lead on a 3-pointer. Benedict was able to cut the lead to 57-56 with 25 seconds remaining. The Panthers were able to seal the game with a pair of free throws.
 
The Tigers, now 4-5 overall and 4-5 in the SIAC, had balanced scoring. Caleb Hymon led the Tigers with 10 points, while Jamian Jackson and Jordan Brewer had nine points each. Clark Atlanta improves to 8-3 overall and 5-2 in the SIAC.
 
The Tigers continue their road trip with a game at Fort Valley State on Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
