COLUMBIA, S.C. – Columbia International swept a pair of non-conference softball games over the Benedict College Lady Tigers on Tuesday afternoon.
CIU (20-6) blanked Benedict in both contests, winning 8-0 in the first game and 15-0 in the second game.
Benedict (5-20) was held to four hits in the first game, and one hit in the second game.
Cayla Crooks,
Myia Lambert,
Alaina Harvey and
Hope Gunn all registered hits in the first game, while
Tamia Daniels had the only hit in the second game.
The Lady Tigers host South Carolina State on Wednesday, March 25 in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at Tiger Field.
