ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball All-SIAC teams and individual honorees on Wednesday, as voted by the conference's head coaches.

Benedict junior guard
Alaysia Nash was named the SIAC's Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-SIAC.

Freshman
Andrea Duncan was named to the All-Freshman team.

Nash established herself as one of the most disruptive perimeter defenders in the SIAC this season. She averaged 2.56 steals per game, which ranked fourth in the SIAC and 55
th in the nation. She was the defensive leader for a Benedict team that ranks 10
th in the nation in steals per game and 11
th in turnovers forced per game. Nash also led Benedict in scoring at 11.7 points per game, and scored a career-high 28 points against Lane.

Duncan had a major impact on the Lady Tigers in her first season. She finished third on the team in scoring, averaging 8 points per game, and led the team in assists. She scored a season-high 21 points in Benedict's upset win over Miles.
