COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benedict head men's basketball coach Dannton Jackson has announced the 2026-27 schedule, which will feature 27 games, with 14 games at home.

The Tigers will open the season on Monday, Nov. 9 with a non-conference game against Paine College at 7:30 p.m. in the HRC Arena. That will kick off a four-game home stand to open the season.

Benedict will follow that with a home game against Coker University in a regional challenge contest on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. Benedict will then open SIAC play on Thursday, Nov. 19, hosting Central State at 7:30 p.m., and wrap up the home stand with another SIAC matchup against Kentucky State on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m.

The Tigers will play a rematch against Coker on the road on Nov. 24, then have a road trip to LeMoyne-Owen and Lane. The Tigers will return home to face Miles College on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m., with Tuskegee following on Saturday, Dec. 12.

After a pair of road games at Spring Hill and Albany State, the Tigers return to the HRC Arena on Saturday, Jan. 2 to host Clark Atlanta for a 3 p.m. contest. They will follow with a game against Fort Valley State on Monday, Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

The Tigers will travel to Morehouse and Savannah State the next week. They will travel across the street to take on Allen University on Jan. 16.

Benedict will be back home on Monday, Jan. 18 when they host Edward Waters at 7:30 p.m., before traveling to Central State and Kentucky State. The Tigers are back home on Thursday, Jan. 28 when LeMoyne-Owen comes to town for a 7:30 p.m. game. Benedict will host Lane at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30.

Benedict opens February on the road, traveling to Miles (Feb. 4) and Tuskegee (Feb. 6). The Tigers return home to take on Allen University on Saturday, Feb. 13 for Reunion Weekend.

After a road game at Edward Waters on Feb. 15, the Tigers wrap up the schedule with a pair of home games. Spring Hill will come to town on Thursday, Feb. 18, followed by the regular season finale and Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The SIAC Championship will tip off on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the home sites of the higher seeds. The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship will be at the Arena at Southlake in Morrow, Ga.
