The Benedict College baseball team was recognized during Saturday's football contest for their outstanding achievements.
The Tigers baseball program received six plaques from the NCAA for leading Division II in various statistical categories.
Benedict was the national leader for stolen bases per game, winning the award for the fifth year in a row. Benedict also led Division II in runs per game.
Second baseman
Kevin Davis led the nation in stolen bases and runs per game, while former first baseman
David Weber was the nation's leader in walks per game and on-base percentage.
Coach
Selwyn Young also received a plaque from the American Baseball Coaches Association recognizing his 100
th career win, which he achieved last season.
