HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Benedict College women's tennis team fell to Coker College, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.

Beverly Matsiwe won 6-1, 7-6 at No. 1 singles, while Catina Gamo won at No. 2 singles 5-1.

Matsiwe and Karina Izakova won 6-3 in No. 1 doubles. Gamo and Sofia Gomez won 6-3 in No. 2 doubles to give Benedict the doubles point.

Benedict will host Converse College on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Richland County Tennis Center.
