Box Score COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers defeated Fayetteville State University, 7-0, in a non-conference women's tennis match on Saturday afternoon.

Benedict improves to 6-2 overall, while Fayetteville falls to 0-2 overall.

Catina Gamo won 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 singles, while Sofia Gomez also won 6-0, 6-0 in No. 5 singles. Beverly Matsiwe and Karina Izakova won 8-1 in No. 1 doubles. Shakendra Alston and Olivia Simms won 8-3 in No. 3 doubles as well.

Benedict will host Erskine College on Monday at 2 p.m.
