ATLANTA, Ga.– The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its track and field weekly honors, released by the league office on Tuesday.
Stellah Kiptui of Benedict and Christopher Jackson of Albany State was named this week's women's and men's SIAC Track Performers of the Week.Â
Johnelle Johnson of Benedict and Anthony Hampton of Kentucky State collected this week's women's and men's SIAC Field Performer of the Week honors.

Track Performer of the Week – Stellah Kiptui, Benedict
Â
Kiptui finished first in the 1,500-meter and 5,000-meter run at the Savannah State University Orange and Blue Classic. She is currently ranked No. 1 in the SIAC in both events.
Field Performer of the Week – Johnelle Johnson, Benedict
Johnson threw an NCAA Provisional qualifying mark in the discus throw of 45.75m (150 feet, 1 inch). She finished first place and is currently ranked at No. 4 in the Division II and No. 1 in the region as well as the conference. She also finished second in the shot put with a distance of 12.00 meters and third in the hammer throw.
