PUEBLO, Colo. – Benedict's
Jada David finished 15
th in the women's triple jump event at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
David jumped 12.35 meters (40 feet, 6 ¼ inches) on her second attempt, which was a season-best mark. She jumped 11.99 meters (39 feet, 4 inches), on her first attempt. She jumped 12.07 meters (39 feet, 7 ¼ inches) on her third attempt.
The top eight jumpers advanced to the finals. The top eight finishers were named first-team All-American, and finishers nine through 12 earned second-team All-American honors.
David was making her second appearance in the national championship meet. She finished 18
th in 2022 with a jump of 11.76 meters (38 feet, 7 inches). Her career-best mark was 12.54 meters (41 feet, 1 ¾ inches), set at the Lee University Last Chance Meet in 2022.
