GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Benedict College women's cross country team finished second out of four teams at the Bruins Cross Country Invitational on Saturday on the campus of North Greenville University.
Purity Kibet finished fifth overall and led the team with a time of 19:59 over the 5K course.
Jane Kiborus finished eighth with a time of 20:21.
Megan Thompson finished 10th with a time of 21:04, while
Floma Okumu finished 11th with a time of 21:11.63.
Torriann Noad finished 19th with a time of 22:48.
Eilika Lane finished 21
st with a time of 22:49 and
Cavel Barnett placed 22nd with a time of 22:54.
Sinia Massillon finished 31st with a time of 25:55.
The Lady Tigers will compete in the 2022 Cricket Cross Country Championship, which will be Friday, Nov. 4 at the Georgia Premiere Cross Country Course at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Ga.
