COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benedict College second baseman Bradon O'Connor has been named to the 2022 D2CCA Baseball All-South Region team, it was announced Wednesday.

O'Connor was named to the second team, as selected by the region Sports Information Directors.
 
O'Connor, a graduate student, ranked second in NCAA Division II in batting average, hitting .454. He ranked sixth in the nation with an on-base percentage of .551. He broke the NCAA Division II single-season stolen base record with 97 total stolen bases out of 105 attempts. He also ranked 22^nd in the country in toughest to strike out and 23^rd in hits per game.
 
All 16 first-team All-Region selections will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration. The All-America teams are scheduled to be released on Wednesday, June 1. The complete D2CCA All-South Region teams can be found on the following page.
 
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies, and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and work closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
