ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team, All-Academic Team and individual team honors Friday.

The SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who excelled in their respective sports and in the classroom, earning a 3.4 or better cumulative grade point average for the academic year.
Benedict had a total of 145 honors awarded to 94 student-athletes. The conference recognized a total of 1,335 honors awarded to 1,075 student-athletes.

Student-athletes named to the SIAC All-Academic Team held the highest cumulative grade point averages within their respective sports.

Tuskegee led individual team honors, capturing the football, men's and women's cross country, women's volleyball, men's and women's indoor track and field, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's outdoor track and field, men's tennis and baseball team awards. The Golden Tigers also recorded the highest combined cumulative GPA across all men's sports, all women's sports and all student-athletes during the 2025-26 academic year.


Benedict, Miles and Kentucky State also earned team honors. Benedict took home honors in men's volleyball and women's tennis, Miles earned the men's golf team award and Kentucky State captured the softball team award.
