Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers rallied in both games to sweep a nonconference doubleheader from Edward Waters College on Thursday at King Park.

Benedict won the first game 6-5, scoring the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning on an RBI single by Jasmine Sledge.

BerGearia Major went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Victoria Bratton was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Benedict trailed 9-2 in the second game before coming back. The Lady Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out the win, as Asia Benn walked in the tying run, and Olivia Oxford scored the winning run on an error after LaTayvia Mack hit the ball to left field.

Oxford and Sledge each had three RBIs for the Lady Tigers in the second game.

Benedict improved to 8-13 overall.
