ATLANTA, Ga. (November 30, 2021) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men's and women's basketball Players of the Week.

For women, Tyashia Bostick (Spring Hill) was named Player of the Week, while Madison Golden (Benedict) earned Newcomer of the Week.

For men, Malachi McCoy (Benedict) was named Player of the Week, while Lavar Miller (Central State) earned Newcomer of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.

Golden helped spark Benedict off the bench with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in Benedict's 74-54 victory over 22nd-ranked Tuskegee. For the week, the transfer from Newberry shot a 4-11 (36.4%) from the field.
