COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College men's cross country team finished 12^th out of 15 teams at the 2023 Akiah McMillan Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday, hosted by Columbia College.
 
The Tigers finished with 329 points.
 
Freshman Braylen Brooks was Benedict's top finisher, coming in 61^st overall over the 8K course with a time of 29:40.7. Sadiki Marsh finished 65^th with a time of 29:49.8. Javel Best finished 88^th overall with a time of 31:07.2. Tristan Stowe finished 94^th with a time of 31:19.8. Quincy Harris finished 113th with a time of 34:25.8, while Andy Ferguson finished 117th with a time of 35:27.2.
 
Benedict will run at the Royals Cross Country Challenge, hosted by Queens University of Charlotte, on Oct. 6 at McAlpine Creek in Charlotte, N.C.
