MACON, Ga. – The Benedict College men's cross country team finished as runners-up at the 2023 Cricket SIAC Cross Country Championship on Friday at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course in Macon, Ga.
 
The Tigers finished with 85 points, while Morehouse won the championship with 24 points. Central State finished third with 103 points.
 
Nelson Kipkemboi finished fourth overall with a time of 28:43.6 over the 8K course to earn All-SIAC honors.
 
Sadiki Marsh finished 15^th with a time of 30:30.4. Braylen Brooks finished 20^th overall with a time of 30:58.0, while Javel Best finished 22^nd with a time of 31:11.9. Tristan Stowe finished 24^th with a time of 31:52.2, and Quincy Harris in 30^th with a time of 33:56.2. Andy Ferguson finished in 89^th with a time of 50:14.3.
