Box Score 2 COLUMBIA, SC - The Benedict College Tigers dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader against Clark Atlanta at Tiger Field.
Clark Atlanta took the first game 11-8 on Saturday. The Tigers fell despite leading 5-0 in the second inning.
The Tigers piled up 11 hits in the game. Jalen McDuffie, Jayden Jordan, and Jayden Jones each collected two hits. Jamell Mitchell Jr. and McDuffie each stole multiple bases.
Benedict couldn't bounce back, losing the second game 10-5.
McDuffie and Taj Bates were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Benedict . Bates went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Benedict in hits.
The Tigers are back on the field Sunday at 1 p.m. at Tiger Field.
