ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday, March 25, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week.
Isaiah Canty (Benedict) and Korey Bunselmeyer (Spring Hill) were recognized.

Canty played a big role as Benedict won two out of three games against Albany State. In Game 1, Canty hit a walk-off grand slam in the 9th inning in Benedict's 16-12 victory. Canty had a solo homer and drove in two runs in Albany State's Game 2 victory. Canty went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and hit his third home run of the series in Benedict's Sunday victory. For the series, Canty went 6-for-12 (.500) with a 1.167 slugging percentage and a .647 on-base percentage.
