ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, March 25, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in meets last week. Kibren Moore (Albany State) and Chase Ransom (Benedict) were recognized.

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – CHASE RANSOM, BENEDICT COLLEGE
Senior | Loganville, Ga. 
Ransom won the men's hammer throw with a throw of 51.53 meters (169 feet, 1 inch) at the Weems Baskin Invitational at the University of South Carolina. He also finished fifth in the discus with a throw of 44.37 meters (145 feet, 7 inches).
