ATLANTA — The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its SIAC Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday, April 8, honoring student-athletes for impressive performances in games played last week. Jackson Bell (Spring Hill) and Brailin Duran (Benedict) were recognized.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – BRAILIN DURAN, BENEDICT COLLEGE

Duran threw a complete-game two-hitter as Benedict defeated Clark Atlanta 11-0 in the first game of their SIAC series. Duran walked only one and struck out eight over seven innings. Duran improved to 4-0 on the season with a 5.13 ERA.
