ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025 preseason all-conference women's volleyball teams, individual honors and predicted orders of finish on Monday, featuring six returning players from the 2024 All-SIAC lineup.
 
Named to the preseason squad from Benedict were junior middle blocker Desire' Young, who was named to the first team, and junior setter Willow Alls, who was named to the second team.
 
During the 2024 season, Young led the SIAC in hitting percentage, hitting .350. She also ranked 10^th in the league in kills per set (2.61), while also averaging 0.57 blocks per set. She was named to the All-SIAC second team, and also earned the SIAC Elite 14 Award, presented to the All-Conference player with the highest GPA.
 
Alls ranked sixth in the SIAC in assists per set last season, averaging 5.81.
 
In the predicted order of finish, Benedict was picked to finish fifth in the SIAC East Division. On the East side, Albany State was picked to finish first, followed by Savannah State, Fort Valley State, and Clark Atlanta. Edward Waters and Allen were picked to finish behind Benedict.

Preseason honors are as voted by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.
 
Benedict opens the 2025 season on Sept. 4 with a home match against Paine College at 6 p.m.
