PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. –Benedict College fired a second-round score of 340 and dropped to third place in the 2018 SIAC Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday at the Flat Creek Golf Course.
Albany State remains in first place with a two-day total of 649. Miles College shot a 332 on Tuesday to overtake the Tigers for second place and have a two-round total of 667, two strokes ahead of Benedict.
After having two players shot below 80 during Monday's opening round, no one did on Tuesday.
Ignacio Espina shot an 80 on Tuesday to lead the Tigers and now stands in a tie for fifth place with a two-round total of 164.
Sam Smith is also tied for fifth with a 164 after firing an 86 on Tuesday.
William Edwards shot an 87 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 166 to stand in eighth place.
Rajai Cousley fired an 87 for a two-round total of 175 and is in 20
th place overall.
Marqus Edwards shot a 92 on Tuesday.
The third and final round will begin Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
