Benedict Finishes 6th At PGA National Minority Golf Championship

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Benedict College men's golf team finished in sixth place at the PGA National Minority Championship.

The Tigers shot a team score of 1,007 over three rounds to finish sixth out of seven Division II teams.

Sam Smith finished 18th among Division II participants with a 78-88-77—243 over the three days. Ignacio Espina finished in 23rd with a tournament score of 79-85-89—253. Rajai Cousley finished tied for 25th with an 86-84-85—255. William Edwards came in 29th with an 85-91-82—258. Marqus Edwards came in 32nd with an 84-94-92—270.
