PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The Benedict College men's golf team shot a third-round score of 336 to finish in third place at the 2018 SIAC Golf Championship at Flat Creek Golf Course on Wednesday.
The Tigers entered the day two strokes behind second-place Miles College. Benedict wasn't able to catch the Bears as Miles shot a 333 on Wednesday to take a five-stroke advantage over Benedict. Albany State won the conference title for the second year in a row with a three-round score of 978.

Sam Smith was named to the All-Tournament team after finishing fifth with a three-round total of 245.
Rajai Cousley shot a two-over 74 on Wednesday, the lowest score on the day, and moved up 13 spots on the leaderboard, finishing tied for seventh with a total score of 249.
Ignacio Espina shot an 87 on Wednesday to finish with a 251 and finished in a tie for 10
th place.
William Edwards had a 94 and shot a tournament score of 260.
Marqus Edwards had a 97 to bring his tournament total to 284.
The Tigers will compete at the PGA National Minority Golf Championship from May 11-13.
